In 2019, many students across America (and the world) experienced a halt in their studies at university in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Following the global crisis, many students were forced to adapt to an online learning environment; one that worked or didn’t work for many.
Upon the decrease in cases, universities and colleges across the nation reopened their doors, allowing (long) lost memories to resurface and realities to change.
This series is an affidavit to the resilience of the graduating class. While it doesn’t highlight or display the hardships that came with the journey, it does showcase the joyous feeling many students in the Class of 2023, felt crossing the stage for graduation.
