'Why I Give' Article

The Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) is the federal workplace’s largest charity campaign. The CFC aims to provide employees with opportunities to connect their own experiences with charities that relate to causes near and dear to their hearts. As an intern in the Office of Communications at the Library of Congress, I outlined, wrote, and copyedited the agency’s annual ‘Why I Give’ article. The article highlights employees at the library who participate in the campaign and discusses their own personal reasons for giving. The article was published in the library’s internal publication, the Gazette.
